Our engraved school leavers bench
When it comes to the end of the school year we are always asked by parents who are looking to club together and buy a leavers gift. One of the most popular commissions is our engraved school leavers bench. This is lasting statement, sat in pride of place at the school showing the children’s names. We have included in the price of the bench engraving across the upright slats making up the bench back rest. Depending on the size of bench you choose, we can offer a single name or two names to be engraved down each slat upright.
Seat Configuration:
Our new engraved memorial benches are available in 3 standard sizes, a 2 seater, a 3 seater and a 4 seater configuration.
Standard or Premium Style Bench
We offer two versions of our benches, Standard and Premium. Premium being the much heavier duty version. The solid Teak bench frame is a lot chunkier and more solid however it does reduce the amount of upright making up the back rest.

2 Seater – 13 slats
3 Seater – 17 slats
4 Seater – 21 slats
Premium Bench
2 Seater – 11 slats
3 Seater – 15 slats
4 Seater – 19 slats
Finish:
Our Teak benches come without any finish as standard. Teak is a naturally oily timber and is perfectly suited for outdoor conditions. Your bench will fade to a pale silver colour in time if left untreated. You do have the option, if you so desire, to have your traditional bench finished in Superior Grade Danish Oil.
Cushions:
Coloured fitted cushion covers can be added to your bench order. An outdoor bench seat cushion is the perfect accessory for any timber bench, making it more comfortable and will finish off your bench nicely. Available in a range of colours.
Dimensions of Benches:
2 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.2 metres wide – Up to 50 characters on the top rail and/or the knee bar
3 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.5 metres wide – Up to 70 character on the top rail and/or the knee bar
4 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.8 metres wide – Up to 100 characters on the top rail and/or the knee bar
Price includes engraving on all slates across the back rest of the bench.

All engravings are in capitals. For lower case lettering, this can be requested at the time of order. Please add this to the note section at checkout or you can contact us via email or phone. All sizes are approximate.
Bespoke Engraving:
If you are looking to include extra lettering, lots of names for example for school leavers tribute. Well, we can carve names along the slats of the bench, on the back uprights as well as the bench seat slats. Please contact us for a quotation. All benches are delivered on a pallet. Please make sure before ordering you have appropriate access.
