Our unique large letter garden bench.
Available in three sizes our large letter name benches are made from solid Teak, beautifully finished with care and attention to detail. They are extremely hard wearing and sturdily built, giving you many many years of enjoyment.
These personalised wooden benches come with enormous wooden cut out letters instead of the regular upright hardwood slats on the back rest. Due to size of the benches it will depend on how many letters we can fit into the space. If the word, lettering or numbers you choose don’t quite fill the full space we will make up the difference with regular slats. A proof of the design will be sent you to you by email for approval before anything is started. Please be aware that any changes or amendments to the design will add onto the delivery time.
These personalised benches are just stunning. Using traditional joinery techniques, sanded and finished to a very high standard you will agree these are some of finest quality hardwood benches on the market.
Personalise your garden bench
Our beautiful large letter benches will include the letters or number of your choice but you also have the option to personalise your bench further with engraved lettering on the top rail. Perfect for additional wording like names, dates, a favourite poem, quote or saying.
Finish:
Our Teak benches come without any finish as standard. Teak is a naturally oily timber and is perfectly suited for outdoor conditions. Your bench will fade to a pale silver colour in time if left untreated. You do have the option, if you so desire, to have your traditional bench finished in Superior Grade Danish Oil.
Seat Cushions:
Coloured fitted cushion covers can be added to your order. An outdoor bench seat cushion is the perfect accessory for any timber bench to finish off your bench nicely. Making your personalised bench more comfortable. Available in a range of colours.
Seat Configuration and Letter quantities:
Our engraved wooden benches are available in 3 standard sizes, a 2 seater, 3 seater and 4 seater configuration.
2 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.2 metres wide – up to 3 – 4 characters
3 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.5 metres wide – up to 3 – 6 characters
4 Seater: 94cm tall x 69cm deep x 1.8 metres wide – up to 3 – 8 characters
Empty space before and after the large letters may need to be filled with regular bench slats.
Estimated Delivery Time For Commemorative Benches:
8 – 12 weeks. Please be aware this is only a estimate. If you require an item to be made by a specific date please contact us.

All of our engraved benches are made to order. All engravings are in capitals. For lower case lettering, this can be requested at the time of order. Please add this to the note section at checkout or you can contact us via email or phone. All sizes are approximate.
